CORNWALL Rugby Football Union Player Development will be running monthly under 15/year 10 and under 14 year 9 satellite squad training sessions during the 2008/09 season.
The sessions will focus on player improvement. They will cover individual, unit and team skills and will be an important part of the selection process for next season's under 15 county teams.
The u15 sessions will be held at four centres on the following dates: September 15, October 20, November 17, December 15, January 19, February 16, March 16.
The centres are Launceston RFC, 6.30pm-8pm; Newquay Hornets RFC, 6.30pm-8pm; Penryn College, 6.30pm-8pm; Pool School, 7pm-8.30pm.
The under 14 - year nine session are at Launceston RFC, 6.30pm-8pm; Newquay Hornets RFC, 6.30pm-8pm; Penryn College, 6.30pm-8pm; Pool School, 7pm-8.30pm. The dates are September 8, October 13, November 10, December 8, January 12, February 9, March 9.
Once players have registered for a particular centre they will need to attend the same venue for all the sessions. The Launceston sessions will be on grass, while the other venues will be on all-weather surfaces; appropriate footwear will be required.
Those wishing to attend must complete a player profile and parental medical forms and the reply slip. (Those who registered at U14s last year and attended a Centre need only complete the reply slip.) All application forms are on the Cornwall RFU website.
The cost for the season is £20, payable in advance by cheque or postal order made payable to the CRFU.
