Body found at Hayle beach

A body was found on a beach at Hayle yesterday afternoon.
Police were called to the beach at Philliack at around 3.30pm yesterday, following reports of a body being discovered.
It is thought to be that of a middle-aged man from the area.
The death is not thought to be suspicious and the corner has been informed.

Full programme released for Tall Ships regatta
The full regatta programme for the Funchal 500 Tall Ships Regatta has been finalised. Falmouth is playhing host to the start of the event, with a fleet of some 20 Tall Ships arriving by midday on Wednesday September 10 for four days of entertainment and spectacle before leaving on Saturday September 13 in a Parade of Sail preceding the race start.
